Among animation studios, a link exists to an area known as "Toon World". This world is inhabited by, of course, cartoon characters. Filming is done in the cartoon world and then sent to the real world for editing and production, reducing the boredom and cost of animation. However, the animation industry is under great pressure from new computer-generated animation techniques. In an effort to revitalize traditional Cel animation, real-world Studio SPUMCO will create a cartoon based on Extreme Skating. And so the auditions begin in the Toon World.

The characters are all Cel-Shaded and mostly anthropomorphisms. You'll control one of them through eight grand sets in a bid to get selected for the cartoon. You rack up points by doing what you would do in any skateboard game, squeak, jump, the usual ticks. However, here there is a twist. Since you're a cartoon, you can earn points by being decapitated crushed and other familiar anime antics. Sometimes a level will consist of a battle or a race.

The game also contains a two-player versus mode.
