All eleven games can be played with up to four players simultaneously, and up to 16 players can compete in a variety of tournament modes to choose from. The Wii Remote is used to aim, throw and perform other actions to simulate real games. Various characters, including custom characters, can be selected to act as the player's avatar. Equipment to customize these characters can be unlocked as the game progresses.
