GALLOP RACER 2006 (PLAYSTATION 2 PS2)

Gallop Racer 2006, is the permanent update of the Gallop Racer series, with the standard game modes: Exhibition and Career, as well as new modes such as Memorial Quest, where players can compete in over 100 classic horse races Years Past and Field of Legend, where players can test their created horses against horses from years past of horse racing. This whole setting is set in a theme park-style arena called Gallop Racing Square.

Not only can players create their own horses, but they can also race classic and legendary horses from previous years in horse racing history. Gameplay is virtually the same as previous versions, pressing buttons at a certain time to nudge the horse during the race, with several gauges to monitor such as the horses stamina, their position in the race as well as their mental state . Players can also bet on races, with a real betting simulation feel, by calculating weather conditions, horse conditions as well as horse statistics.
