Gal Metal! is a drum and rhythm game, following an all-female teenage heavy metal band. During the opening sequence, aliens attack and abduct you. Upon returning to Earth, the male protagonist is fused with the band's main drummer, causing their spirits to co-exist within his body. You'll start learning drum techniques from Rinko and his metal band to battle aliens and regain your body. Unlike most rhythm games, no musical notes are displayed on screen, but rhythmic patterns can be used freely to combine musical attacks. The left Joy-Con controls the snare drum, while the right Joy-Con controls the kick drum. Swinging the two Joy-cons controls the cymbals.
