It's a world of fish-eating fish in the vast depths of the waters with countless other predators and fishing humans making life dangerous, but something much more sinister lurks in the deepest depths. As an earthquake shakes the very foundations of Finny's home stream, it also shakes the foundations of his life as a fish. Now led by Kappa, the protector of Finny's house, he must travel the vast seas in order to meet the Masters and recover their statues.
One of the most important parts of the game is the hunger meter. Finny must eat fish to survive, otherwise his hunger gauge will deplete and he will gradually lose health. It is able to lock onto different fish with a targeting system. He can even eat fish bigger than him by biting them for a while. However, he cannot eat decoys. To escape the fishing humans, he must either break the fishing line or jump out of the water to unhook himself. He will also have to avoid other dangers such as alligators and electric eels. The game keeps track of the fish it has eaten and the lures it has caught.
Apart from that, this game has many puzzles to solve and people to help. You can collect one item at a time to bring them to people who need them.
