Final Fantasy V is a role-playing game that uses the real-time battle system first introduced in Final Fantasy IV. It also incorporates the skill and mission system from Final Fantasy III, which focuses gameplay around four main characters and allows the player to change classes, or "jobs." A new feature allows a character to be assigned a skill from one job to another.
