FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: THE WAR OF THE LIONS (PSP PORTABLE PLAYSTATION)

The PSP version of the game mostly iterates the original for the PSOne. The visual presentation is almost a 1:1 copy, resembling the old version with an enlarged camera to fit the PSP screen. Ports developer Tose added cel-shaded intro movies and plenty of animation sequences that play after each chapter ends. Some maps have also been completely redone, but you still can't skip the event scenes.

The PSP version also features two new playable characters: Balthier from Final Fantasy XII and Luso from Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Two new job classes have been added - the brand new Onion Knight class and the Dark Knight class which were only available on the PSOne after using a cheat code. Two wireless multiplayer options are available once you reach the world map (just go to a bar in any city). One is Coliseum (Versus Battle Mode), the second is Cooperative Challenge (team mission).
