Final Fantasy (Fainaru Fantajī?) is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square Co., Ltd. for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1987. It is the inaugural game in Square's main series: Final Fantasy.
Released on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the series, and available since February 7, 2008 in Europe, at the same time as Final Fantasy II on Sony's portable console. Note the addition of cutscenes, visual effects during the game and fights, a backup system or new levels.
