FERRARI GRAND PRIX CHALLENGE NINTENDO NES

The player takes on the role of a Ferrari team driver whose goal is to become F1 champion in the standard 16-round season. The player faces 25 computer opponents representing different F1 teams. Each heat consists of a qualifying race (1 lap) and a main race (5 laps). The Qualifying Race determines where the players' vehicle will be placed at the start of the Main Race. The player is rewarded with points which determine their ranking at the end of a main race, with more points being awarded for the highest position finished in the race. Also during a race, the player can make a pit stop to change their used tires and refuel, which involves playing a mini-game. There is also a practice mode, where the player can choose how many practice rounds they want to practice.
