FATAL REWIND KILLING GAME SHOW (SEGA GENESIS SG)

This is a vertical platformer with a horizontal wrap. For the entertainment of the futuristic masses, you play as a criminal who has been inserted into a mechanical body with the promise that if you manage to survive all the levels (there are many and they are difficult) you will be set free. You start each level at the bottom, near the liquid pool that will soon rise, at your immediate risk. Navigate the bottom level to the top exit before the liquid rises and kills you. There are plenty of other enemies flying around, causing you damage and annoying you to spit. Most levels must be navigated through a series of keyed doors, gates, or portals. These shaped keys are scattered around the map and should only be picked up and used on the doors they individually correspond to. Twist: You can only carry one Special Weapon (Triple Shot, Laser Beam, or Vertical Shot) and one Tool (Wrench, Liquid Gel, or Red Herring) at a time. This game requires a lot of memorization of enemy movement patterns and optimal routes. A unique feature is that when you die you can watch a replay and take over at any time to continue your game. You can also press the HELP button at the start of each level to bring up a map, helping you plan your route.
