Far Cry 2 is a FPS video game developed and published by Ubisoft Montreal on Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October 2008.

This Far Cry sequel takes place in Africa and places the player in the role of a mercenary. This episode marks a turning point in the series as it is no longer being developed by the German studio Crytek but by Ubisoft Montreal.
