The Fantasy Zone is a solar system made up of eight brightly colored fantasy planets. The evil Menons attempt to take over all of the planets in the Fantasy Zone using hijacked foreign currency to bolster their forces. It's the player's job to collect all the coins and save the solar system!
Fantasy Zone is an arcade-style shooter for one or two players. The goal is to destroy all creatures on each planet and collect as many lost coins as possible. At the end of each level is a big enemy that will need to be defeated before moving on to the next world. At various points in the game, the player will be able to find a spare parts store, which will allow him to purchase upgrades for his spaceship, including better weapons and faster engines.
