F1 2009 is a racing video game based on the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship season. Announced on May 9, 2008 by Codemasters, the game was released on November 19 for PSP and Wii. The game engine is the Ego Engine, which has already been used by Codemasters for its Colin McRae: Dirt and Race Driver: GRID. This new installment is the first licensed F1 game released since 2006, the latest being Formula One Championship Edition developed by SCE Studio Liverpool.
