ENDURO (ATARI 2600)

Enduro is an action racing game similar to Pole Position. Your goal is to last as long as possible in an enduro race; each race day you have to overtake a certain number of cars. If you pass, you keep going, fail, and you're out of the running. Driving conditions vary from day to day; not only will you have to drive at different times of the day with different amounts of light, but the seasons can also change. Snow, ice and fog will appear occasionally to make driving more dangerous. With each passing day, other cars will become faster and more aggressive. At the bottom of the screen is an odometer, so when the race is finally over, you can see how far you've made it.
