Two average high school students Yumo and his friend Yusha get lost and find themselves in a twisted version of the city of Ximending. Yumo gains powers and along with other guardian spirits she will fight against creatures named Chaos Beasts, to maintain the boundaries between the two versions of the city.
Dusk Diver is a third person 3D action game. This is an anime-style 3D beat-em-up action game with some light RPG elements. Combat is fast and combo-heavy, combining light and heavy attacks to chain combos together and summoning Guardians to take out all enemies. There are also explorations and side quests similar to games like Sega's Yakuza series, interacting with NPCs and completing tasks to obtain D Arms upgrades.
