A revamped update of the TurboGrafx-16 game. This story takes the player to a lost kingdom called Westtoria which has been sealed off for years, in order to learn the fate of the people there and close the Great Labyrinth, from where the monsters of this world are spawned. .
The player can create one of three different races (the human-looking Izark, the elf-looking Ist, and the reptilian orcs known as Olff) and choose from six warrior classes (fighter, hunter , monk, thief, shaman and bishop) so choose their sex, their attributes, their color among others to create more than 70 variations.
The gameplay mainly consists of exploring dungeons, hacking enemy monsters, collecting bonuses and casting spells against enemy monsters along the way. They can also explore the city, buying weapons and armor to create over 300 variants to help them on their journey.
Each character has their own special abilities better known as "Arts" of which there are three: Weapon Arts which depend on the type of weapons you use and how often, the more it is used, the more it will become powerful. Job Arts which depends on the job class of the characters, these can become more powerful when used more often. Likewise, more working arts can be obtained by upgrading their job class. And finally Big Bang Arts which is obtained by overlapping the powers of several party members, the more party members there are, the more powerful the attack. There is also a multiplayer capability using Ad-Hoc to equip three human opponents.
