Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Nintendo Switch

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is the fifth game in the Donkey Kong Country series and was released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U and later ported to the Nintendo Switch.

While celebrating Donkey Kong's birthday, the Kong family witnesses the arrival of an invasion fleet of arctic creatures (Snowmad). The island is frozen solid, and their flagship takes up position atop the island. This cannot go unpunished, so the Kong family sets out to retake the island.

The Switch version includes the new Funky Mode, featuring the surfing simian Funky Kong, which unlocks a range of gameplay updates and an alternative way to play the game using his unique abilities. Funky's health is higher than that of the player characters, which were only available in the Wii U version.
