Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure is a 3D game where the player designs an avatar and becomes the apprentice of the fairy godmother known to Cinderella. This doesn't go well as you accidentally turn friendly sprites into mischievous imps in the garden and they need to be changed before they cause trouble. This is done by casting spells on them using a wand. During the game, different environments are visited based on properties and characters such as Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle, and Tiana.
Alongside exploration, there are many types of mini-games. It is also possible to complete quests, dance, or participate in gardening by planting flowers or decorating your room in the castle. Many customization and decoration options become available by earning gems.
