DISGAEA INFINITE (PSP PORTABLE PLAYSTATION)

Overlord Laharl decided to cut Prinnies' salaries after he was "murdered". As Prinny who has found a magic watch, the player must travel back in time to find out what really happened. To do this, Prinny can possess various characters from the Disgaea series and follow them throughout the plot. In order to change the past, he can also mentally control the character he possesses when the character has to make a choice. Mind control allows Prinny to select one of three options which will alter the series of events from that point. At a few points in the game, when major events happen or are prevented from happening, Prinny's soul is "saved", meaning the next time travel will send him back to that specific point to start over. The object of the game is to start over and over again, find as much information as possible and save Laharl from being "murdered" and save the Prinnies' salary future.

The story is presented in the form of dialogues between the characters, as well as sprite animations. And has many different endings, depending on the choices made by the player. The endings themselves are often short advertisements for Disgaea and Nippon Ichi Software games.

To track the progress of the story, the player has access to a timeline of all events, tracking the stages of each character, Prinny's diary, giving hints about the plot and how to change the story flow , and a database of characters, locations, and other trivia from the Disgaea series, and occasionally for other Nippon Ichi Software games.
