Dexterity is a puzzle game with a 7x8 grid, each filled with a tile or other element. The goal is to flip all the tiles within a time limit. This must be triggered manually by pressing a button, but if there is another flipped tile on the field, all other tiles between the player's position and the other tile will also be flipped. Some grids are filled with stationary blocks, moving blocks (either by pushing them normally or sending them flying with a powerful kick), and holes.
There are also monsters that must be avoided. All five have different behaviors and have the ability to flip already flipped tiles; some of them can even push blocks or destroy tiles. Monsters can be killed by using blocks against them: pushing them past the edges of the playing field or a hole will kill them. Alternatively, they can also be trapped. Killed monsters slowly respawn at pre-set spawn points; it takes place in several phases. In the "egg" phase, it can be picked up to kill another enemy with. Another possible weapon are stunned enemies that stood in a row with multiple flips.
When you push blocks into a corner, they disappear and turn into bonuses, e.g. bonus points, extra time, or a temporary stun of all enemies. A life is lost when an enemy is hit or time runs out. When this happens, all flipped tiles remain flipped.
