In Desert Child, you are a young and talented hovercraft racer who must find a way to raise enough money through races and odd jobs to earn your one-way ticket to the red planet and participate in the greatest race of the universe, the Grand Prix.

The world as we know it is slowly starting to become habitable, and many people on Earth have moved to Mars for a better quality of life, thanks to a government grant that helped relocate citizens by providing affordable passage. After several years of operation of this program, the government announces that in two weeks the price of tickets to Mars will increase, making the exodus to the Red Planet impossible for ordinary citizens.

You'll deliver pizza, collect gun parts, hunt bounties, and make fans along the way. Between races, you'll explore colorful towns where you can repair and upgrade your bike, dine on local cuisine, and fight your way through gangsters, bounty hunters, and all sorts of interesting characters, just so you can have fun. a meal and keep your bike running.
