Endorsed by England and Manchester United captain and international superstar, David Beckham Soccer is the latest in Rage's long tradition of football game development. It includes both national and club teams (from England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain), as well as the ability to create custom teams, with details ranging from the usual name, stripes and colors at the stadium. Other than Beckham himself, no player is licensed (likeness is preserved, but names are replaced with phonetic equivalents, such as "Owin" or "Zanetee"), but the editor also allows the player to customize every player and team. Game modes include friendlies, club season, several international cups (including the old home league), classic matches (some featuring Beckham's career highlights, some just classic matches) , Beat Brazil, where the player starts with France and tries to beat Brazil with a weaker and weaker team, Survival, where the player faces the best international teams, with goals against carried over, until the player loses a match, and Train With Beckham, a series of exercise mini-games intended to teach the basics of the game and unlock "secrets".
