Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is a remastered version of Dark Souls II. Alongside the main game with all the fixes, it includes the three DLC packs: Dark Souls II: Crown of the Sunken King Dark Souls II: Crown of the Old Iron King Dark Souls II: Crown of the Ivory King The gameplay has been changed slightly by removing some safe zones and adding new NPCs and enemies, including the Forlorn. Enemy placement has been tweaked to create a whole new gameplay dynamic, specifically for returning players. Online and Campaign had game balance adjustments, improved online matchmaking, higher quality graphics, and different item descriptions.
