In CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - Deadly Intent, the player once again joins the Las Vegas crime lab team as a new recruit. This game's timeline takes place in Season 9 of the long-running TV show and features the likenesses and voices of the actors and actresses who star in that show, including Catherine, Ray, Nick, and Riley.
The player will help solve five gruesome murder cases which must be solved in the order they occur. Collect evidence at crime scenes, interview witnesses and suspects, and analyze evidence using the lab's high-tech computers and equipment.
Gameplay is traditional point-and-click in a 1st person perspective. Communicate with other team members using a PDA, accessible from an icon at the bottom left of the game screen. The PDA is also used to navigate to different locations, examine collected evidence, review folders and access game options.
This game was released simultaneously for Windows, Xbox 360 and Wii. It is set during the same time frame as CSI: Deadly Intent - The Hidden Cases for the Nintendo DS but has different cases and gameplay aspects.
