In this game, you play the role of the Crystal Pony. One day, his pony friends decide to throw a party at a nearby castle. But an evil witch has captured and imprisoned all the ponies. The only pony still free is Crystal Pony. She must now carefully explore the surroundings, find gems scattered in various places and use them in places where ponies are captured to free them.
You steer your pony through various locations, collect horseshoes on your way, and "pay" them at level gates to move on to another location. You can explore locations in any order you want, traveling directly between them or using teleport images. The game has more adventure elements than action. Crystal Pony cannot die in-game; if an enemy hits her, she simply loses one of her horseshoes. The only battles are against the witch, occurring whenever you use a gem in the correct spot. The pony would automatically jump over obstacles, but you can also make it jump with a corresponding button. You can get additional items by interacting with various objects and characters, pressing the action button.
