Cosmic Commuter Atari 2600

Cosmic Commuter takes place in 2075. You work for the Galactic Travel Agency and must help citizens get to and from work! Each level consists of several parts. First, you must successfully land the rocket module on the planet's surface (this contains your astrobus). This part of the game is similar to the Lunar Lander game; you must control the lander's speed to ensure you don't crash! In the second side-scrolling segment, you control the astrobus and attempt to pick up commuters at bus stops. Once all the commuters have been picked up, return to the rocket module and blast off to transport the commuters to the large central space station. Of course, many obstacles can prevent a successful mission. Meteors, fireballs, and space mines interfere with and can destroy your astrobus. Your astrobus is equipped with a laser that can destroy these obstacles. The Astrobus also has a limited amount of fuel; if you start running low, you'd better find more fuel before you crash!
