Cooking Mama 3: Shop & Chop is the sequel to Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends. The game has 5 modes:
Let's Cook: In which you play several mini-games in succession. The mini-games together are the stages of making a dish.
Let's combine: Here you can combine several of your learned recipes to create new recipes.
Use Skill: Here you can play the minigames which are usually stages of a dish, as separate games. You can do small challenges or aim for high scores.
Cooking Contest: Up to 4 players can compete with wireless specific mini-games (only one player must have a copy of the game)
Let's Shop: Players need to buy groceries for you to use in the recipes you cook. This is a timed mini-game where you have to find the right items, while avoiding obstacles such as other shoppers.
