Sega Genesis Model 1 Console

The Mega Drive (Mega Doraibu?), or Sega Genesis in North America, is a fourth-generation video game console designed and marketed by Japanese manufacturer Sega Enterprises, Ltd. The Mega Drive is Sega's third console, succeeding the Master System. Sega first released the console in Japan as the Mega Drive in 1988, the console was then released in 1989 in North America, renamed Genesis in that territory. In 1990, the console was released in most other territories as Mega Drive.
