Cobra Command is an arcade conversion of a helicopter shooter from Data East. This is an "on rails" style shooter where the player only controls the aim of the shot but not the direction of the helicopter.
Your job is to take down enemies as you traverse images of the streets of New York, the Statue of Liberty, the Atlantic Ocean, Italy, the Grand Canyon and finally, treacherous nooks and gunfire. return from the enemy fortress on Easter Island.
There is no background music to accompany the sound effects. The levels are quite short with a total game run possible in around 20 minutes.
