CABELA'S DANGEROUS HUNTS 2009 (NINTENDO WII)

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2009 puts the player in the shoes of Flint Abrahams, a famous hunter who travels the world in search of hunting challenges. The player spends a lot of time exploring the wilderness looking for traces of prey. Because they can be hard to tell apart, a Hunter's Sense is included to reduce the world to grayscale and make the animals stand out. The game, however, retains an arcade approach and allows the player to shoot anything in his path, with no regard for a patient approach.

The game's Career mode has timed levels forcing fast-paced gameplay, and the various stages are set around the world. When facing larger animals such as bears or lions, a melee mode is often automatically triggered to fend them off with a number of quick event key presses. Another option is Adrenaline Mode where time almost stops completely, making it easier to line up shots and keep kills.

Different types of equipment become available to aid in the hunt, and in some missions it is not necessary to kill animals - tranquilizing them is sufficient.
