The year is 2013 and the world has been invaded by an army of evil monsters. The army fought a losing battle against these demons, and humanity began to lose hope. Suddenly, a woman with a huge broom-like gun appears and travels to confront these demons on her own...

Bullet Witch is a third person shooter. In it, players control Alicia, the titular Bullet Witch, who wields a broom-like gun (called a "Gunrod") that can also be used to cast magic. Besides that, the Gunrod can also transform into different types of weapons, like a shotgun and a Gatling gun.

Alicia fights her way through various stages, battling hordes of demons with the Gunrod and its magic. Magic can be used to create magic walls to protect against enemy fire, summon a flock of crows to attack enemies, sacrifice one's own blood to save innocent people, among other talents. After completing a level, Alicia gains skill points, which can be assigned to various skills to improve them.
