Brain Quest: Grades 3 & 4 is an educational trivia game adapted from the Brain Quest flashcard series that quizzes children on a variety of academic topics. Aimed at children between the ages of eight and ten (the US third and fourth grade classrooms), it contains 6,000 questions on a variety of subjects including English, science, math, history, geography and Grab Bag. The latter is a mix of music, food and pop culture.
Different approaches are used to answer the questions. Players can tap to fill in missing letters in words, cross out letters, select the correct answer from a list of possibilities (through words or pictures), match pairs by drawing lines, or use the stylus to arrange a sequence the right way. order. The questions appear in the upper screen and the answers must be entered in the lower part. There are many cartoon characters and backgrounds that provide a visual element to the questions.
