Borderlands 2 (sometimes abbreviated BL2) is a video game, developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, mixing role-playing game and first-person shooter, released in 2012. The PlayStation Vita version, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, was released in May 2014. It is the sequel to the video game Borderlands, released in 2009. The game was later released for Nintendo Switch on May 29, 2020.
As of August 2019, the game has sold 22 million units.
