The basic gameplay of Bomberman Land Touch! 2 is identical to its predecessor Bomberman Land Touch! : The player moves to a central world (this time the Bom-Bom kingdom) and starts one of the available mini-games with a theme park background. Solve these reward items that unlock more regions of the world with additional mini-games (total 40). Some of the minigames are new while others reuse concepts introduced in the predecessor. The plot follows Cheerful White, a Bomberman, as he explores the Bom-Bom Kingdom theme park.
Multiplayer (the traditional Bomberman premise where multiple characters move around an air map, use bombs to kill the competition and collect bonuses) is also largely the same with a few additional maps and items as well as support for a single carriage. . The single-player content is controlled by touch and stylus while the multiplayer part uses the digipad.
