Blood Wake is an action video game released at the same time as the Xbox console, of which it was part of the line-up. It was developed by Stormfront Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios.
The action of Blood Wake takes place in the Sea of the Dragon, a fictional sea. However, the buildings and characters have an Asian type, which suggests that this sea would rather be in Southeast Asia. The story is that of Shao Kai, a young lieutenant of a faction called Northern League who, following a betrayal, sees his squadron destroyed and all his men massacred in the open sea. Taken in by a pirate clan baptized by Shadow Clan, he decides to fight alongside the leader of the pirates, Ped Zeng, in the hope of taking revenge on the sponsor of the assault: the putschist Admiral Shao Lung, brother of Kai.
