Bayonetta is a beat 'em up action video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Sega. The game was released in 2009 in Japan and in 2010 in the rest of the world for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Unveiled in May 2008, the project is led by Hideki Kamiya, the father of the Devil May Cry series.
