Bayonetta is a beat 'em up action video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Sega. The game was released in 2009 in Japan and in 2010 worldwide for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Unveiled in May 2008, the project is led by Hideki Kamiya, the father of the Devil May Cry series.
