Battlefield 3 (also known as BF3) is a first-person shooter video game published by Electronic Arts and developed by DICE, part of the Battlefield series, released on October 25, 2011 in North America and October 27, 2011 in Europe on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 3602, as well as a confirmed EA Mobile version on iOS platform. It follows Battlefield 2, only released on PC in 2005.
