BACKYARD SPORTS BASEBALL 2007 MLB (NINTENDO GAMECUBE NGC)

Backyard Baseball 2007 is a baseball game with kids, including young versions of active MLB players at the time of its release. The graphics are rather cartoonish and the gameplay more arcade-oriented. Majority of the time is spent batting or throwing which is timing dependent, there is also active fielding and base runner management. Power-ups can be activated when the power meter is filled and provide certain benefits, e.g. the "split ball" power-up for pitchers causes the ball to split in two. There are various difficulty options that can be toggled on or off, such as auto-scoping or disabling bat aiming (when enabled, the player must actively aim in the direction the ball is meant to fly).
