Atari Flashback 2

The Atari Flashback is a series of dedicated consoles marketed by Atari, Inc., a company created in 1999, following the takeover of the commercial brand by the French company, Infogrames Entertainment, from 2004 to 2011. Since 2011, the consoles of video games are, since version 3, released in 2011, produced and marketed by AtGames under Atari SA license. In these Plug and Play versions of the classic Atari 2600 and Atari 7800, the games are integrated directly into read only memory (ROM) of the console, rather than using the traditional ROM cartridge system. Hacks on versions 1 and 2 allow the use of cartridges, the entire console being integrated into a chip, while from version 3, the system is emulated on an ARM architecture processor.

The consoles come with gamepads. The consoles connect to a television through the standard composite video and mono audio RCA jack, and are powered by an included AC adapter.
