Assassin's Creed Unity is an action-adventure, stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The game was released in November 2014 on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the eighth main game in the Assassin's Creed series but is considered the "fifth major installment" (or the sixth if Assassin's Creed Rogue is included). It is the direct sequel to Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, released in 2013, and it is also tied to the story of Assassin's Creed Rogue, which was released on the same date on previous generation consoles, namely PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
