Assassin's Creed Origins is made official at E3 2017. The game begins in ancient Egypt, the origins of the creation of the brotherhood of Assassins. The game takes place in an open world and features some role-playing elements, it also introduces a new modern day character Layla Hassan researcher from Abstergo who will relive Bayek's memories. The game was released on October 27, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
