Asphalt 2: Urban GT NINTENDO DS

The sequel to Asphalt: Urban GT continues the fast-paced racing of the original game with various additions. The races take place in eight locations around the world. During the race, money can be collected by smashing other cars or avoiding the police. Money becomes available by driving riskily, eliminating opponents or cops, or collecting items. When a certain money level is reached, new elements are unlocked, such as parts to tune the car (for free), new tracks, new vehicles, or a new game mode. For the first time in the series, bikes are also available.

During the race, a boost meter can be built up by picking up specific items or eliminating other cars. A double boost can be applied for high speeds, while double-tapping right or left causes the car to drift. Ignoring all driving rules, a wanted meter slowly accumulates. Cops will chase them with regular patrol cars, helicopters, or set up a roadblock.
