Just like the original Wetrix, you have to use the many different shaped blocks and build dams around the playing field to trap the water, so it doesn't flow out. In this version there is a story mode, where you have to complete each level within a certain time to move on to the next one.
The playing field has also undergone some changes, with each part of the playing field being represented by a bingo card at the bottom left of the screen. Each time you clear part of the area, one of the areas on the bingo card is checked.
A new practice mode helps you improve your speed and accuracy, and of course there's a two-player battle mode, for those who want to prove they're Wetrix champions.
