Alone in the Dark is a video game developed by Eden Studios and published by Atari Inc., released in 2008 for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, Windows and Xbox 360. It is the fifth installment in the Alone in the Dark series. , a horror action-adventure game series, credited with initiating the survival horror genre. The PlayStation 2 and Wii versions are developed by the Hydravision studio. The PlayStation 3 version released a few months after the other versions, and subtitled Inferno, brings in particular the correction of several bugs related to the gameplay, as well as a new game scene.
