AFTER BURNER BLACK FALCON PLAYSTATION PORTABLE PSP

After Burner: Black Falcon is the fourth game in the After Burner series, released nearly fifteen years after the previous game. Like the previous games, it is an action-based flight game presented from a single-player perspective. Familiar features include a fast pace, taking on multiple enemies at once with a combination of swipe and lock-on weapons, and evasive maneuvers using rolls.

The game consists of 24 levels. Players choose from three pilots (Billy Blaze, Harrison Duke, and Tomiko Rossellini) to pursue the Black Falcon terrorist cell, which has stolen thirteen prototype aircraft. Each pilot brings different twists, and there are nineteen different aircraft to pilot (mostly jets). They can be equipped with weapons and items, or receive a paint job. The game takes place in locations around the world, and during the flight, there are often short sequences by the pilots. There are also many objects in the scenery that must be avoided or destroyed. Missions have main objectives and side missions that earn more money for upgrades. As usual, there are large bosses who wield weapons such as the EMP.
