ADVENTURE ISLAND GAME BOY GB

In the South Pacific, Master Higgins lives peacefully wearing only a grass skirt and a cap. That is, until the Evil Witch Doctor decides to capture Tina and claim her as his own. It's up to Master Higgins to gather throwing axes, fireballs, and skateboards to aid him in his noble quest.

The game is a side-scrolling game, with Master Higgins moving from left to right across the screen and finding his power-ups in giant eggs. This includes a skateboard, which provides a huge speed boost—until Master Higgins is hit and loses his power. If he's not on a skateboard, one hit means instant death. Another gameplay mechanic is starvation, which is indicated by a meter that steadily decreases. If it reaches zero, the hero dies, and the only way to replenish it is to collect food along the way. Bosses await at the end of levels, all the way up to the Evil Witch Doctor himself.
