Adrenalin Misfits is a downhill racing game made for the Kinect peripheral in which anthropomorphic animal characters race on "crossboards" - boards that can traverse snow, water and everything in between.
Game modes (for one or two players via split screen) include:
Trial: A training mode that presents the controls. It must be completed to unlock the other modes.
Downhill slalom: a slalom race in which riders must pass between flags.
Flight Distance: Racers compete for the furthest jump.
Trick Score: Racers compete for the highest score by performing tricks.
Balloon Buster: Points are earned by popping balloons on the track.
Free Race: a simple race - the first to reach the goal wins.
Stadium Games: another high-scoring trick competition, but in a stadium with half-pipes and ramps.
Moving through the game unlocks new courses, runners, and boards. Players can also use their player profile avatar in-game. Controls are entirely motion-based: players tilt their body sideways to spin, forwards to accelerate, and leaps to jump. In the air, twisting the body launches tricks while stretching the arms performs a glide. Classes also include powerful items (speed boosts, weapons, and special moves) that, once picked up, can be fired with a stomp.
