Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version, more commonly referred to as Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl (Poketto Monsutā Daiyamondo Pāru?), are two installments in the Pokémon role-playing video game series, developed by Game Freak. They are published by Nintendo on the Nintendo DS portable console, in Japan in 2006, in North America, Australia and Europe in 2007.
As in all previous versions, the player controls the main character from an aerial view. Its goal is to capture, train and battle fictional creatures called "Pokémon" in order to obtain the title of "Pokémon Master".
