Genji: Days of the Blade, is an action game for PlayStation 3, first released in Japan on November 10, 2006.
The events of Genji: Days of the Blade take place three years after those of Genji: Dawn of the Samurai. The Heishi Clan, seemingly defeated at the end of Dawn of the Samurai, have returned, their military strength bolstered by the use of unholy magic that allows their legions of soldiers to transform into immense demons. Yoshitsune and his faithful friend Benkei must do battle with the newly restored army of the Heishi clan army; this time around, however, they gain two powerful allies: the priestess Shizuka Gozen and the spear-wielder, Lord Buson. Like the previous game, it is based on Japanese history.
